Hands down, the best question I ask during my branding process:

How do you want people to FEEL when they come across your brand?

It sounds so simple that it’s easy to brush it off.

But when you really stop and think about it, this question is magic.

It goes beyond logic and into the heart of your customers (which is where people really buy from).

Feeling and emotion is truly underrated in business, my friends.

When you tap into people’s emotions...you tap into their wallets.

Take Disney World, for example.

They want people to feel childlike happiness.

That feeling guides everything they do, from hotel room design to in-the-park experiences to those commercials with slap-happy families walking out of Magic Kingdom holding hands.

That feeling makes them the big bucks.

Here’s what you need to do (and can do right now)

It’s time to find your feeling words. Yes, now.

Why pounce on this?

Because once you have the words that describe the feelings you want to create…you can figure out what your brand needs to say and do in order to make those feelings happen.

So. Let’s get to it.

Choose 1-5 adjectives that capture the way you want to make people feel.

To make it extra easy, I’ve curated a list of adjectives below...although feel free to peruse the dictionary at your leisure.
